I have three. The K-9, the Metro Master Blaster, and Chris Christensen Kool Dry dryer. I like the Master Blaster better than the K-9, and the Kool Dry dryer has its advantages. It is very quiet and no special outlet is required. It has many, many different speeds which is nice for when drying around the face. So....I would recommend either the Master Blaster or the Kool Dry. |
See if you can have a demonstration of them firstly to see how noisy they are, some are like jet planes taking off and scare the living daylights out of the dogs. You want one that is not too noisey Also with different fan speeds and heat settings. |
I have this one and I really like it. http://www.doublekindustries.com/airmax_details.php At some point, I'd like to get a dedicated crate dryer, too since I use this as my crate dryer with a bunch of fans and then as a finisher. The great thing about a high velocity dryer is that you can use it just to blow dust out of their coats between washings. You'd be surprised what comes out! |
I have the Oster 309 http://www.petedge.com/product/Oster-Hi-Velocity-Stand-Pet-Dryer/43344.uts I love it! It's great to have a hands free dryer and it's not too loud either. I can dry my dogs is about an hour and fifteen to an hour and a half and their coats are at 6 inches of length. It is easy to move around with the wheels under it and I can adjust the arm easily to change where I want the air to fall. |
