1 am this morning, (and I am on earlies so up at 5 am) Archie is howling , of down stairs I pop thinking one of our cats is playing pat the cat flap - to see if it's safe to go outside! noop the daft hound standing there beckoning towards the door - toilet? So I let him out, he charges around in the rain satisfied all is okay, in he comes again,  then he howls again - what is going on? I calm him down and he settles - I return to bed, and I hear an Owl - yup Archie howls, he had a conversation with the Owl for a good 90 mins!  nothing would calm him or distract him!  My neighbours will probably think Wolves have moved to the area!  So let's all Howl for the Owl!  Out on his walk at five with the Owl tooting and screeching - not a peep out of him! |

| Rudy does this too. I've figured it out. The owl says, "Who? Who?" Our dogs politely reply, "Bark, bark." (Which means, "It's me.") Then the silly owls don't believe them, and keep asking. So the dogs have no choice but to again, politely, explain... But they still don't believe they are who they say they are... And then it's barkapalooza, as they argue their position. They really are just trying to educate the owls. |

| Perhaps Archie was expecting a letter from Hogwarts? You know, they do come by owl. With Harry Potter in theaters tonght, I think maybe Archie was just a little excited! |
| Funny. All we get is Harry howling at the sirens. Being part coonhound, he has a beautiful voice. Plus he only does it outside! Inside, he just looks at me and whimpers, "Can I, can I??" Nope. |
