Blue
 On Monday my most beloved and beautiful friend ever, passed away. Blue was almost 13 years old and he was the most amazing creature I have met in my life. We all loved him and he adored us. He slept with us all of the times until 6 months ago when he couldn't do the stairs anymore. He looked after my son Charlie for seven years. He was playful, funny, he had that delicious pink tongue. I knew that the time was near. Recently he was so slow and tired but when he had 42C fever and a bladder infection on Sunday evening I still had dreams that he would be ok. On Monday morning, after a very hard night of wetting himself 6 times we tried to see if he wanted to get up and move around a little bit. I was hoping that the Vet injections would have made a bit of difference. His body was all wobbly, like a just born calf...so sad. We tried several times but he couldn't stand up anymore. We then put a blanket on him and with our hearts in pieces we told him how much we loved him and how grateful we were to have met him. He looked into my eyes in the most intense way. I then called the vet back for the "injection" I did not want him to pass the night suffering. The vet came into the house, Blue opened his eyes (now glazed) again and looked at me for the last time. I cannot stop crying and I feel so much love for him that it hurts. One day I will have another OES and I am sure he will also be amazing...but Blue will always be my biggest love ever. I hope that he is now in a big green field full of roasted chicken and fresh bread that he liked. Bye Bubi... xx |

| i'm so sorry for your loss,im crying with you. try and think what a good life you gave blue. Blue is now with our sasha that passed over the bridge late september. to let them go is the last thing we can do for them. |
