| I am sure I will be no help on this as I live in CA, but we started our Sheepie, Rascal, as soon as we got him at 3 months. I would take him into the alpaca pen every time I entered. When I did anything I talked to him. I said lets put the girls to bed and would show him how to do it. Now I say lets put the girls to bed and he rounds them up and puts them to bed. I have had no formal training but Rascal is awesome and helps alot. I say just protect him when young by staying with him so that he does not get scared or hurt by the animals and talk to him like he is human, but be consistant with directions. |
