We're back. Simon and I are starting a new agility class at the Cudahy Kennel club on Wednesday's at 7:30pm. I have no info on the club, meaning good bad or indifferent but right now I don't care. I am just excited to get back into the game. Poor Simon has been moping since our last class ended and then I had surgery which sidelined us longer. Its been 2+ almost 3 weeks since I had surgery and I'm doing much better, just a little sore. Poor Simon was looking so dejected that I took him out and did some jumping in the back yard and he was so happy(flaky too). Thats when I realized...Hey, I can do this, just a little slower for another week or so. I am out of shape from not running like a made person but I can and will get there again! |

for you and Simon. Remember Simon is probably a little out of shape too, so a bit slower is good for both of you. |
Pam - did you check in with Cream City to see where you are on the waiting list? The folks at Cudahy are wonderful people - I've taken obedience classes up there - but there really aren't any advanced agility competitors and the flooring is not ideal. It's slippery with not much cushioning, so take care to not jump him more than 16". Glad you're feeling better! Kristine |
Great news that you are feeling better. Be careful! Take it nice and easy and both you and Simon will be back in full swing soon |
