That is a varied menu! Apple pie, salad........I was wondering about a cole slaw. Maybe a spinach salad something for a bit more greens for those who pay attention to that. I'd make it a spinach and beet salad with blue cheese........but few people like beets. |
I'm reading sheepieboss's ideas and in my head I'm combining them: Apple, spinach, pecan, cabage salad with a tart dressing. I can't tell you why that sounds so good to me right now. I think I might use this idea for my party this weekend..... Shellie |
I have nothing helpful to add, but I'm drooling over the mussels in wine cream broth...how do you make the broth? (I usually just do wine, butter and garlic...but I'm interested in branching out.) |
A couple of GREAT items to grill, especially for vegetarians would be fresh Pineapple and fresh Peaches if you have any. Spray them with some of your favorite salad dressing and grill away. They are great especially when they caramelize. |
