Allergic to Frontline?

| I would contact the vet and explain what is happening. Next time around I would not use Frontline, but something else the vet recommends. In doing a web search, there are numerous cases of animals have similar reactions. |
| Yup, talk with the vet. One of mine lost the hair between the shoulder blades after using Frontline Plus. http://oesusa.com/Panda-Skin-Back.jpg We used Frontline spray after this happened... only if there was evidence of fleas which wasn't very often. She didn't have a problem with that product. |
| Frontline and similar meds can cause many problems. It's a toxin after all - made to kill the little pests and not harm the dog...and that's a fine line to walk! A friend's cattle dog was having seizures last week after his Frontline application. It's a neurotoxin med, so not unheard of.  He's OK now, thank goodness. |
| One of my dogs was severely allergic. She has to be given a pill as an alternative. Never any topicals or she goes bald and her skin bleeds. |
