I learn something new about dogs everyday.
I have no problem picking up Mady's poop. I do not like picking up other dog's poops.  It was cold and wet today, I was walking Mady, she was off leash, just a bit behind me, she was sniffing at a pole. I looked back, and she sorta looked like she coulda maybe had a quick poop. I walked over, there was poop right there, take out a bag and reach down and instead of that reassuring steamy warmth of my dog's fresh poop... was cold and wet. Ewwwwwwwwww. I quickly tied the bag and popped it in a waste can. And was icked out for the rest of my walk.... |

 I HATE when people do not pick up after their dogs! Rude!!!! Marty will go behind other dogs if he sees it happening... I am usually saying "You need a Bag?" |
| what I dont like is a lot of people with small dogs think because they have small poop they dont have to pick it up. Poop is poop, PICK IT UP. I always take my pooper scooper with me. |

| Our town/city has a recently enacted law. It requires that you carry a poop bag, easily visible to others or you get a hefty fine. And they are enforcing it. They are trying to enforce th picking up, but that is a bit harder. |

I'll stand there, observing my dogs make a deposit, mentally evaluating the out put, pick it up, no problem. Pick up after some dog I don't know? Ack, I want to throw up. No clue why. When it's my own dog's I like to evaluate it (is it firm, does the color look normal, are there any foreign objects in it, etc.), but any other dog's poo and it's just gross! |
