Yes and no. Love those clear answers. As long as the end product is fine and nothing is coming back up the front, then girgles and squishes are fine. I find when MO is having tummy issues and throwing up or squirting out the back, the stomach noises are quite loud. |
Some dogs just have loud tummies. Since I've always had large dogs, I frequently end up sharing the couch by laying with my head on a dog tummy, using it as a pillow. I'm fascinated by what I hear. I've also noticed that some dogs have pretty quiet, regular sounding digestive systems, and others sound like a full piece band doing a Sousa march, although eveything else is totally normal. I'd ask your vet the next time you have a scheduled appointment, but as was said above, if everything else is working normally it's probably nothing. |
I think I'd rather hear noises than not hear anything at all. No noises from a digestive system (when putting ear against stomach area) is not a good thing. When Brick seems under the weather, I always listen to his digestive tract. I think it's a good indicator of problems. |
Sometimes wierd stomach noisec can signal some gas...Make sure you are not feeding too soon after exercise...I agree, the end results is what matters |
