Licking pawpad

I've been seeing my boy licking his pawpad (left foreleg) for days now and I just thought it was out of boredom or just something he does before he goes to sleep. I looked closer today and found out that there's this pink pimple like thing on the skin between his pawpads. It is dark pink in color. What is that thing and how could it have popped up?
What can I do about it today? I can't take him to the vet today 'coz of some social/communal issues going on in my country today.

I might be something embedded between the paws, a thorn for example. Maybe an insect bite? I've tried soaking my dog's paw but it wasn't worth the difficulty......they'd pull it out, I'd put it in, etc. Make sure any hair is removed from the area and let the dog lick......he will anyway. Any bandage will drive him crazy and he'll be chewing it. Hopefully you can get to the vet soon.
I checked the area under his paw. There isn't anything stuck there in the fur on on the skin. My mom says that it could be some yeast infection thing 'coz of paw soaked in urine (but I don't believe that). My guess at the moment is that it could be a heat boil. Going out anywhere today and tomorrow is very risky so I can't take him to the vet. I'll try to keep the area dry by dusting powder over it. My mom says it would be a good idea to wash his paw in warm water with salt in it and a bit of dettol (antiseptic liquid). Could there be an ointment to cure this? I'm still confused as to why this boil came.
My girl was neglected and abused for a few months before she came to me. She licks her paws for a while... and nibbles. It's a soothing activity for her. I don't mind for a bit but sometimes she gets really carried away so I stop her and remind her to breathe.
Hi Vidhya I dont blame you for staying home at the moment bit scary to travel at the moment to the vets.

Could be as simple as a grass seed, insect bite or just extra inflammation from sucking on it. If it looks pimpley it might pop which would be good as it realeases the infection then more bathing till it dries up and scabs up.

At the moment keep an eye on it and yes bathe in Warm Salt water then dry off with a towel, do that twice a day and in the meantime just keep a good eye on it to see it is not flaring more. If you can stop him from licking it because that can make more problems so try a sock over his foot to deny him access to it.

Watch it over the next few days, keep bathing it in salt and water and if looking not like drying up or looking real infected when you can see your vet if needed in a few days time.
If the weather is very hot and your dog was out walking on the pavement, it could very well be a blister. If the pavement is too hot for you to go barefoot, its too hot for your dog to walk on. I would imagine if its a blister from the heat, its a bit uncomfortable for the dog. And if it breaks, it could get infected. If you can get to a Vet to look at I would recommend it.

If not, keep an eye on it. If it breaks, maybe some cleaning is necessary. I am not sure what is good to clean it with but maybe others on the board can help. You don't want to attempt to clean an open wound/broken blister with anything that may burn.
I don't think it's a blister from walking on any hot surface. I haven't taken him out and the weather is always quite cool in my city.
I went to the clinic today and bought an anti bacterial, anti fungal and anti inflammatory ointment and applied it on the skin between his paw pads. I kept rubbing it on the area for 15-20 seconds as doc recommended. He isn't licking or biting the area much today...I'm watching him like a hawk  .He knows that he's not supposed to lick that area so he satisfies himself by licking the air.
I just hope it gets better soon. Thank you all so much for helping me out and for all the support. I just LOVE this forum. It's like internet home to me.
