shuttle running
he picks a toy up in his mouth (ofcourse) then trots from one side of the room to the other, as if he is doing a bleep test, half a dozen times, its quite comical. but he has been doing this for months. there is no set time, he will just get up and do it. he also does it in the shop when i take him to work with me. anyone else doing it? any ideas on why? |

| My Airedale Brick will run from one end of the house to the other. My ex g/f called them shuttle runs, or shuttles, for short. In some of the videos we have of him doing this, you can hear one of us saying "shuttles" over & over again. Sometimes he does it with his butt lower than his topline, like he's getting downforce from a spoiler (like on a race car). It's quite comical to watch. |
I'd guess he's got an excess of energy to burn.  |
