Henry is 4 today.

Three years ago today some nice lady found Henry by the side of the road in Fresno, picked him up and turned him into the Fresno SPCA. He was matted, infested with ticks and fleas, and weighed 70 pounds (80-85 is his best weight.) His neck was worn raw by a collar that he had obviously pulled against for a long time, the collar (no tags) was held on by scabs. Seven days later, the OESRNC (Northern California) picked him up and drove him to to a foster home. He messed himself in terror on the drive home. The vet thought he was just a year old. Three weeks later, Henry came home with me.

I gave him the birthday of April Fool's Day since it was the day he was found and started on his path to my heart. Happy 4th Birthday to my Little Boo. He gets a special treat tonight!

I know Henry's best gift yet, was the day he was brought into your home. It's so obvious from your post how much you love this boy and although trying at times has been so rewarding. You are the best thing that ever happened to him!! I have no doubt Henry enjoyed his special day with you and was spoiled silly.
