Its not hot air balloons giving her the hebbies today its a concrete crane I was sitting with my laptop checking out the forum and Tiggy was outside the back glass doors taking in the fresh spring air. Suddenly she started running up and down the doors looking all panicked. The neighbours over the back are extending and a big concrete crane was coming over their roof to pump concrete into the back of the house. Admittedly it does look a bit menacing reaching over the roof of the house, but Tiggy is quite upset. When I let her in Rastus noticed it and the big wooz ran out back barking and growling at it. So that decided Tiggy on her course of action. She'd be inside barking and growling. Lots of treats later and she's lying on the rug watching intently out the back glass. If it comes any closer she'll be ready to warn me. I wanted to go to the gym this morning but I think I'd better stay home and supervise. |

oh no poor Tiggy. i not quite clear exactly what the thing is hanging from your neighbor's roof. |
cement pump crane, you've had to have seen 'em in fla.? |
Tigs knows one mistake and your back yard is filled with concrete..........she's just protecting the house and yard. Good girl. Those things would be spooky that close to her property. |

It's a big hydraulic arm that reaches right over the roof from the concrete truck out the front of the house and pumps concrete to the back of the house as there is no access for the truck. Its probably 20 feet or more up in the air at its highest point. |
It must have looked the like shadow of some huge dinosaur-era creature coming to get her. She saved you from certain injury, the brave girl! |
Aw, poor Tiggy! That's frightening! Along the same vein, I have this shadow...he's an absurd long-haired chihuahua of my next door neighbor/best friend's....he lives with me about 2/3 of the time - anyhow, I ran through the automatic car-wash when he was in the car with me yesterday. I have never seen such fear from an animal! He did not just shake the way you see little dogs tremble...he practically convulsed and jumped down my shirt. It was SO sad (*and hilarious too!*)! |
Ooops. He's never been in a car wash before. He must have thought it was a really bad storm. |
Poor Tiggy !! Give her a big kiss in the nose from me and let her know that Camille support her 100%, she don't like strange thngs or noises and she run and hide under me She has try to kill me a few time, swooping my feet from under me |
