what am I going to do with her!?!? First imitating a hampster and now learning to cry wolf at such a young age. 14 weeks old! Well there are no new hampster stories to report due to our switching her to a hard crate after surgery, poor baby still has 4 more days till the stitches come out. Well she has been getting pretty good at barking to go out and last night on one of her potty trips she spots the across the street neighbor's cats(2 of them). She did not bark but was pulling on the leash trying to go across to greet them. Now fast foreward to this evening... Willow barks to potty, we go out and there are those cats again. I think they are just sitting there on the edge of the yard to torment her. After a quick tinkle we go back in and not more than 2 minutes later she barks to go out again. We being naive, think well maybe she has to go again. NOT she just went out and sat down in the yard and watched the cats. So we say if you don't have to potty then we are going back in...no way. We had to carry her back in and guess what....2 minutes later woof woof...I have to potty. Well I am always afraid to ignore her, so out again...to sit, watch the cats and be carried in again. Well by this time everyone is tired so Miss "I really do have to potty" Willow has been put into her crate for a little rest. I really hope those cats have called it a night!

Thats very cute. When Frankie was alittle younger we used to use the bell at the door. He was so good at ringing it to go outside. So every time it rings I would let him out, being the same way about always wanting to let him out when he asks. We would sit down for dinner, and he would ring them bell if we didn't get up in time, then he would tug on the bell. So we would let him out, and he would lay down on the deck. Ok come in. We would sit down and ring ring. Yeah it started to get old really quickly. No more bell for Mr Frankie. Tell Miss Willow that those kitties have leathal weapons on there feet, they might not be as fun to play with as she thinks.

Tiggy learnt Frankie's trick too. She rings the bell goes out checks out the back courtyard then wants to come back in. If I ignore her she darn near rings the bell off the door. |
