Ok, I guess I'm it.
 We, Randy and I with Simon and Garfunkel, Kristine with Sybil and Macy, Dawn with her husband(who happens to be very nice) and Chewie, Simon, and Harley, Jan and Sadie, went for an agility run thru on Friday night. Kristine told us to get there early to get a spot. There were exactly three cars in the parking lot...one of them was Dawns. This was to be my Simon's debut, meaning to see if he was a nut and decided to run around instead of listening to me. He did think about it. As soon as I mentioned "treat" and shook the bag, I had his complete attention . He didn't do great but he did pretty well...CPE here we come. Gar decided the smells were much more interesting then the agility equipment:roll:. Dawn went thru with Chewie twice and did really well, Kristine went thru with Sybil, Macy, and took Sybil again who, of coarse does really well and than Jan with Sadie(I don't remember if she went twice) and did really well.We all went out for a Wisconsin "fish fry" after and talked and laughed and told stories. Jan promised to hold my hand for my first CPE trial I did bring my camera, checked twice to make sure I had it and forgot to take pictures...Sorry. |

Sounds like a GREAT time, Pam!!!! Isn't it nice to get together with other sheepiepeople and just have fun??????  sorry, you forgot pics!!! I bet they would have been a hoot!!! |
| Yes, we did have a great time. The club was amazed that 6 sheepdogs and their humans all came - even from out of state! The fish fry was great as well, and Simon and Harley got the leftovers crumbled on thier food at Bassetfest Saturday and Sunday. It was so nice to visit and relax with friends. Sorry no pictures here either....all my free hand and arm motions were used up swatting mosquitos  They were tiny ones, but very hungry...Chewie went home with Kristine after the fish fry, as Bassetfest is an all basset event. This is his annual family visit, and he still fits right in according to Kristine. Sybil snubbed him from the bed, but he apparently still snuck on to get Kristine in the mornings  Then Kristine met us at the park, we got Chewie back, and headed home to MN. 7 hrs later, all back home. |
