Now I think I'll start pacing the floors (on my hands and knees to make sure I've sufficiently "puppy proofed")! The breeder has promised to call at first sign of anything happening no matter WHAT time it is here! LOL! It's a 3 hour time difference and I wish I could be there...BUT someone has to be here and get the "Elders" prepped for their new little "roomie"! Since my husband just HAPPENS to be working within a couple of hours of the breeder, he just MAY be able make trips and take a lot of pictures and/or video so I'll be able to watch him grow untill he's a big enough boy for us to bring him home! : ) I'll be there via phone at his birth! : ) Such excitement!! : ) Cathy, Larry, Taz, Abigail, Ashley, Simon the OE C-A-T and the soon to be Walt! |

Do you know if the breeder has any openings for adoptions? |
Have you contacted the OESCA Breeder referral person? Breeders contact her with
puppies available and she can see if there are any available in your area. Her name is Tarja Peters and you can reach her by emailing her at oescrazy2@yahoo.com I think this is probably the best route to go as this particular litter has many "spoken for". Since they're not born yet, I'm sorry to say I am just unable to give you a definite answer either way. : ( Best wishes! Cathy |
Cathy! That's wonderful news! You're hoping for a little male then? Does baby oes have a name yet? I'm so glad that mom continues to be in good health! I'm sending good baby waves over there for you! It's already the 1st- anytime now! Keep us updated on puppies arrival.

Hi!
We've decided we will call him Walt Dizzy Wigglebottom because "Furry Tales Can Come True" and it will happen to you! : ) Cathy |
LOL! I LOVE that name! Some people are SO creative!! Can't wait to see pics!
Chris |
Congrats Cathy! I can't wait to hear all about him! It certainly is puppy season! |
I've always wanted to have a "theme park" that revolved around OES rescues...a Walt Disney "land" setting, triple gated type community where people could come and play with the OES rescues who would come to live from all over the place, live in a homey setting, be totally evaluated for all the little (or BIG) quirks they may or may not have and be happy and at home there forever or be happy and at home with a new adopted family.
The upright "guests" would have to be thoroughly evaluated before they were allowed near the sheepdogs by CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, temperament tested, sense of humor tested, tested for their ability to both be silly and recognize silly and all the OTHER pertinent testing required which they MUST pass prior to being allowed near our precious "homies"....so naturally, the Walt Dizzy Wigglebottom theme park would be "by APPOINTMENT ONLY"! LOL! That's where the name came from. All proceeds from the park would go back into the care, training, feeding and grooming of the residents! : ) One can dream, right? We are VERY excited about our soon to be new arrival. Today I'm making baby blankets so I can get them shipped out before the arrival of the new arrivals! : ) Cathy pre-tested and passed upright to the Wigglebottoms! |
Congrats on your new little one! |
Congrads! Great name! It's perfect for a sheepie. |
IT'S A BOY, IT'S A BOY, IT'S A BOY, IT'S A GIRL, IT'S A GIRL, IT'S A BOY, IT'S A GIRL!
Mom and babies are doing great! I'm anxiously awaiting pictures of Walt and his brothers and sisters and will be happy to share! Cathy |
What a great name. Very creative! |
Wonderful!! Welcome Walt and siblings! Hooray! Did breeder send you any info on which one Walt is? Markings or birth order or anything? I can't wait to hear more about him.
Karen |
Congrats! It seems to be the year of the boys....lol... last year was mostly girls... lol |
I think the breeder and family have been having too much fun watching puppies, counting paws and noses, etc. to give me too much in the way details yet...but rumor has it...Walt is a big boy, white head, pink nose, 4 paws, cute as a button and what more do I need to know?! : ) I'm sure they're all (the uprights that is..)napping and trying to catch up after a long night of no sleep! They sent me pics...unfortunately, they're very small! As soon as everyone is settled in, my husband will go and take some pics for us! I've put in a request for more from the breeder, too!
For us this the year of a BOY AND a GIRL! We lost two last year, a boy and girl, and this year we got Ashley from rescue and now we're getting Walt. We'll be back to our "normal" household of 4 with 2 boys and 2 girls again soon! : ) Cathy |
FINALLY!!! I've received pics and info. Walt was born on April 3 (the day before my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better gift!). He has 3 brothers and two sisters. They are all gorgeous (just my biassed opinion!). I've been putting the pics up on a website for the breeder so she can share with family and friends. If anyone wants to peek, holler and I'll send you the site privately .... after I ask her if it's okay! : ) In the meantime, see the avatar of "Walt". Pretty darn cute, isn't he??!
Cathy |
He's gorgeous. I can't wait to see what color his eyes will be, and the rest of him too.
Congratulations, time for a shopping trip. |
Right now, they're still "Baby Blues" and I'm not sure how the eye coloring works in doggydom. I know that both his parents have brown eyes, but I've seen litters where both parents had the brown eyes and several of the litter had either two blue or one of each! I've seen other litters where mom had brown eyes and dad had 1 blue eye and no blue eyes in the bunch...so we'll just have to wait and see. My 12-1/2 year old boy has one blue and one brown. Today, he's having "a blue eyed" day! LOL! He woke me up at 3 am this morning with kisses and all I saw was that big blue eye! He's been raising heck all day today! He just cracks me up!
Cathy |
Remy gets alot of looks with her one blue eye...it fun taking her out, we both love the attention.
Altho everyone asks if she's blind....so I end up having a nice disscussion about the norm for the breed. |
Cathy, Walt is just adorable!!! Can't wait to see more pics of him as he grows! Congratulations!
Chris |
CONGRATULATIONS!! I LOVE the name. Now begins the wait!! I know how loooooooong that can seem. I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited some more but then the day finally arrived (last Sat ). Sounds like you have a busy houseful so maybe the time will go fast! |
and, YES HE IS PRETTY DARN CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MORE PICTURES!!!!!!! |
Oooohhhh!!! Walt is sooo cute and tiny still! Look at that little pudum!!! I'll bet he still makes that puppy squeaky sound I love! Cathy, you're so lucky! Can't wait to hear more about him!
Karen |
It's been pretty whacky around here! My husband is home to "summer in Maine", we're puppy proofing and trying to get a guest room done for company!
Thank you all for the kind comments! He IS CUTE, isn't he??!! LOL! I've put his latest pic from May 8 on the avatar! He's getting fluffy : ) We just can't wait!!!!! My lucky husband got to hold him before he came home. I have friends going to play and visit with him so I'm depending on them to tell me ALL the details! LOL! It looks like his eyes will be brown just like his Moms. Zach...if you're out there, I'm going to email you sooooooon!!! Cathy |
