HEART's NEw LoOK!!!!!
I took great pains to find just the right color nail polish to compliment my National shirt.... What do you all think????????  now, some people will say, what difference does it make, it's not like you can see her pretty toes...BUT... .we will KNOW!!!!!!!!!  |

I had to call 7 nail shops before I found one who would take her!!!! For some reason, they couldn't understand what I wanted..It might have been because most of our nail places are owned by Asian people..  Finally, I found one that probably did not understand but said they had an opening~~~ So, after I groomed her and sprayed her with her BLING spray, I took her in...WELL!!!! The manicurist couldn't believe when she jumped in the pedi chair~~~ I turned on the messager and Heart leaned back, the look on her face was pure BLISS!!!!!!! She placed her left paw on the armrest and the painting began!!!! They tried to fit her paw under the paw dryer, but it wouldn't fit, so 3 of the little tiny women, stood around her and blew, blew, blew~!!!!! Then they did the other paw...Heart really didn't want to leave the wonderful chair..(like mommie like sheepie) but she did relunctantly slithered down, grabbed the tip and politely 'mouthed' the money in one of the girls hand. Then Heart, being a very prim and proper lady, extended her right well manicured paw for a shake and a thankyou!!!!!! Then we went home and Heart laid on her tuffet totally exhausted but very relaxed!!!!!(isn't that a lovely story?????? lolololol....I found some quick drying nail polish at the drugstore...was bored and thought I would aggrevate her!!! and it worked!!!!!! Dino thinks I'm nuts , Dawn.....actually he is sure of it!!!!!!))  |

| Marin..its human polish...frosted green.. and I applied one coat, blew two times and it was dry!!! AMAZING!!! maybe tonight I'll do her other paw!!!!!! |

| Val I think her nails are very very pretty. My weimarainer mix love her nails paint, I just did her nails last weekend in Sparkly Gold, the funny think is, she don't let me cut her nails she fought me a lot for the cutting but when it comes to painting them she give me her paw right away and sit still for me until I finish. I have a bunch of colors, and I get the nail polished for dogs Let me know if Heart will like another colors |

| It looks like we are going to have to hold an intervention on Heart's behalf at Nationals. We will leave a trail of bling down the hallway and when she enters the room we will all be there with nail polish remover, plain black rubber bands, etc. |

| Now you're all being REALLY unfair!!! I WANT to come to the Nationals and so does Tiggy. Tiggy just wants me to pass on advice to the boys and any girl who is not into bling. Sorry Heart you're going to have to work harder with Tiggy. She says not to worry about nail polish or what color it is, just find some nice black mud like she did and run around in it, at a pinch sheep poop will do the job. Then no one will no what color your nails are!  She also reminds you that when her pink topknot hair tie is annoying her she just incites her dalmo buddy Rastus into a wrestling match and he pulls it out and gets slobber all in her hair so she looks like something the cat dragged in. And if he really wont help then she just sticks her head under the couch cushions and rubs the topknot out. (yes folks, I come home to a couch cushion on the floor and Tiggy with bed hair on a regular basis. I've watched her she walks up to the couch and sticks her head UNDER a cushion then burrows in and comes up for air looking a fright) |

Nor can my parents fit an indefinite number of bling-fleeing sheepdogs and their people at their house. For those of you sharing a room with the bling meister, well, I guess you're just going to have to learn to sleep with one eye open...  Just because Heart was asked to work at the Health & Research booth, along with Harry, and I suggested that some subtle and gentile bling might not be out of line does not mean that I am responsible for this bling attack. NOT! Clearly there were contributing environmental influences beyond my control that contributed to this breakdown. The best we can do is tread softly around Val, and, if that fails, flee swiftly... Unless, of course, Heart shows up with a nose ring and a tatto on her behind. In which case all bets are off and an intervention will indeed take place I'm just sayin'... Hey, Val - will Heart be available for photo ops and perhaps pawtographs at the national? [Picturing poor Judi running for the barf bag right about now... Judi - methinks you're just jealous. Normally Harry's expansive personality gets all the attention and all the press coverage. What's a girl to do to get some attention with his big butt always blocking her best photo opps? | But Val then you will have to let us live with you forever. Tiggy refuses to spend the 12 or 14 or however many weeks it is in quarantine when we get back. Some fool told her there's no wrestling allowed in quarantine and then mentioned that they'd most likely have a grooming salon. So she refuses point blank to go there. This means international travel is OUT! PS I'm sure you'll find some lovely magnetic nose studs in beautiful colors at your local costume jewellery store. PSS I repeat, there had better be a lot of photos posted for me to look at when the Nationals-that I wont be attending-are over, or else. |
