nipping

| Just growing up and testing the boundaries probably. Tiggy tried that one on me when she was about 8 or 9 months old. I wasnt walking to the pantry fast enough for her liking so she nipped/pinched me on the butt, I was wearing a thin kimono at the time so it really hurt. I got such a shock I leapt in the air and squealed. DH thought it was hysterically funny so I was quite indignant and all thought of the pantry left my mind. Tiggy seemed to get the message that nipping was not going to get her anywhere and has never done it to me again. She has tried it on with DH a few times. She did try mouthing me a few times after that but got short shrift there too. When the nipping happens express pain or disapproval (briefly) and then ignore him completely. |
