HOT but great weekend!
This is my local Kennel Club show, and for years i have been lobying to put OES inside. Yes, outside under the tree's and the beautiful green grass grounds are wonderful. But the weather can be very HOT and miserable (as was this weekend), we've also had storms blow up....... and we've also had rain beyond belief! It is held at the Greeley Stampede Fairground area. WHY the Herding Breeds are the ONLY breeds to be shown outside is rediculous. It's not a matter of not enough room........HUGE buildings with airconditioning etc. Oh wel I will lobby again for next year........if i am still showing. Anyway......... Caly beat her brother BOTH days for BOB ! This little imp just showed her little butt off! Checker's did fine too going Best of Opposite Sex both days, but he was so hot he was miserable bless his heart. (SO WAS MOM). I had the time after the breed ring that i could at least run him home, to let him stay in the air conditioned house with Delilah. Went BACK to the shows and moved Caly into the largeest show building with air conditioning and she and i sat there until Groups time. Caly also got her 'glam' shots done like Checker's. As soon as i scan one in i will up load them. |
