Ohmigod! Mariah wins the yakathon!!! Sybil on the other hand, my matts-a-million dog, is close to being bald at this point Sunny's gonna strangle me Oh, well. She still looks cute. We will get after pictures I trust? Kristine |

We will get after pictures I trust? Kristine After pictures once the trimming fairy is done. Mariah can probably hardly wait. After I took this picture I did tie her head up but I also tied her cheeks up! She HATES that! As for Sybil......she may be a bit thinner on the hair but I am sure Sunny will still be able to work her magic |
Yep Mace and Mariah are definately in the running for the yakathon Kristine love the after shot on Mace definately back to an OES. Now aftershots needed to be seen on your Mariah yack after a trim , worse part is not showing for awhile and having to get the neck coat out amazing how thick that gets & how long the rest of the coat grows. Brie wants to join the Yak gang too, her belly coat was just about hitting the ground in this photo Wasnt shown for awhile so it just kept on growing AND mommy after grooming could not be bothered after to trim, should of seen what I pulled from her neck in undercoat and how much I had to chop off to get her back to looking like an OES. My old girl Kelsey could of joined the Yak Pack too. She grew length of coat like crazy !! |
Yep! I think between Lisa, Kristine & me we do indeed have a "pack of yaks" Or is it a "herd of yaks" I am trying NOT to think about stripping out the neck & chest coat right now. It makes my arm ache just to think about it. |
WOW, Lisa. Another worthy Yak Attack! entry. Did I mention WOW Kristine |
The yaks are all beautiful with their long coats. Quote: The "trimming fairy" is supposed to show up Saturday to make her look like an OES again! Please post an after picture, Marilyn? It's fun to see the before and after pictures. |
That's a whole herd of Yaks!! No yak here, Mr Hottie (temperture-wise, that is ) would keel over and be a total veggie. I still don't want to think about the chest and shoulder ripping.....that is hands down my (and Chewie's) least favorite part. And ignoring it and hoping it magically thins itself does NOT work...I tried that After we get back from Bassetfest - that and a butt trim are on the agenda. |
Hehehe, cute pictures Love the second one And lisa's pictures ! |
Wow they look Great. I think I have a pic of B in YAK coat, try to post it soon. |

I like that one "Herd of Yaks" Join the club we have a nation wide national coming up soon and "Syd" has a lions mane and I just ache thinking about pulling neck coat out of his Elisabethan Collar. He hates it and so do I but at the moment has to be done in little bouts over the next few weeks. He has a neck but at the moment NOT!!!! due to the thickness of all that friggin fluff Sheepie girls are way easier they dont seem to have the density of the marshmellow boys. |
