my Gus
I never realized just how special he was, until I don't have him anymore. I always knew he was special, but not this special. You can't love all the dogs the same, as you do your kids. and Gus turned out to be that very special dog for me. Even his vet cried when we said "goodbye" I now know he is with my husband, who always loved him. RIP Gus  |

| thank you all for your kind words. I really believe that Gus is with my husband and all of my other dogs that went over the rainbow bridge. I do know at one time we will all be together!! that thought keeps me going. again thanks |

Gus must have been a great comfort to you when your husband passed, making Gus' passing that much harder than it would have been otherwise. I will be praying for you, that God would comfort you and give you peace. I too believe that God can give us our beloved pets as treasures in heaven. It is something that would make me immeasurably happy, and since the love that they show us mirrors God's own unconditional love for us, I think God just might be a dog "person" too. | Again, thank you for thoughtful words. My granddaughter asks for Gus everyday. She lives with me. And she says that he is on the refrig. She keeps 2 pictures of him there and says hello to them every day. And hopefully when the time is ready, we will be getting another OES. They are the greatest breeds! |
