| We had fireworks and a huge family gathering August 1st. It's the second year we have done it as I figure someone in my family better start doing it before everyone dies. I have a very anti social family lol. All the old people in our neighborhood probably hated it but oh well, they never hear us otherwise. Sorry you are feeling grumpy about them. |
| If it were the weekend it wouldn't have bothered me. They cleared out pretty quickly. I think they were done by 10:30 so it ended up not being as bad as I thought it would be. Lisa and Frankie |
| Planned fireworks, such as those sponsored by the village or town or county on the 4th of July are fine. I enjoy them. They are pretty and relatively quiet. Gormless neighbors who set off firecrackers and M80s and cherry bombs whenever they want should have their hands blown off. |

| It's not just animals that it bothers...little babies and children are also frighten by it...I just think they should be banned period and only big celebrations by a town /city be allowed...even then with so many people suffering financially should towns and cities spend big bucks for 30 minutes of fireworks? There just seems so many better ways to spend money! |
| Loud noises are just annoying. I don't get why anyone thinks it's fun. |
| With so many people suffering financially, should my tax money be wasted enforcing nanny-state laws regarding fireworks? I don't personally like people blaring their radios, running noisy quads back and forth endless, allowing their dogs to bark for hours, or driving motorcycles with painfully loud exhausts, but I don't think these activities should be banned either. |
