Goodbye my sweet Chloe Bear
Some of you know that Chloe developed lymphoma last December, a few short months of joining us. With your guidance and information(thank you), we elected chemotherapy intervention, and she responded well. It gave all of us eight more quality months. She enjoyed every single car ride, drive thru, and snuggle that we could give. Chloe became the reason for everything as time was short. I'm not ashamed to say that we broke all the rules. We spent eight months of saying goodbye every single day, and feel blessed to have had that opportunity. Our house is not the same this morning without you. I slept all night in my bed, without our 4am snuggle, just me and you. My breakfast was too much for me, because absently, I made enough for you too. My heart is breaking, but I know it was time. Rest well, my baby bear, I will always love you. |

| It is so heartbreaking to help our beloved dogs across the Bridge. Your experience with Chloe sounds very similar to what happened with my Sammy girl. Her decline and loss was so sudden. But we can be comforted by the fact that they were loved until the very end and that they are no longer in pain. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your wonderful memories of her will help you through this painful time. |
