If you have room for a 48" crate it looks like a good one. Most of our crates are 42" and are fine for an OES but our dogs don't spend much time in them. The extra doors are especially handy and the divider is great for a growing puppy. Be sure to compare the cost + shipping against a similar crate you could buy locally. It still looks like a pretty good deal. |
If shipping doesn't kill you (wire crates are heavy), it looks like a good deal. I have always bought mine local because of shipping - they ended up the same price and I prefer to look over the crate in person 1st. |
We love our wire folding crate and the 48 inch is great for us. As our puppy grew, she learned to love the crate and often looked for it during the day to catch a nap. She is now 2 and runs to her crate in our bedroom at night to sleep in. At 48 inches it is big enough for her to sleep and stretch out comfortably. We leave the door open and she still stays in there. If you have the room for the 48 inch, buy it. Once the puppy is trained - and I recommend you use a divider of some sort with an small puppy, one you can take out - - you may find them sleeping in it on their own when they're older. |
