Need new set of cookware-- suggestions?

I currently have a set of Cuisinart, and I HATE them. Everything sticks and it is almost impossible to cook with them, beyond boiling pasta and vegetables. I use my faithful electric skillet most of the time! Any suggestions? Nothing too heavy because I have strength issues in my hands.

My mom and I have circulon ...and I got a ton of calphalon from our wedding. I LOVE both but esp. my circulon. My mom has had it forever and she also still loves it. Nothing sticks, easy to clean, nice weight to them (not to heavy) and if I had to start all over ...it would definitely be with the same items I have now.

I also have a rachael ray skillet that something I also really like. It was their most expensive one, and "IS" a little heavy though. Still great though.
For sauce pans I have Sur de la Table. For pans I have Calphalon. I still use cast iron griddle and big "chicken cooker" but like you, suddenly I'm losing strength so the big cast iron and the Le Cruset I use for cooking beans are getting beyond me.

I did really consider the stuff Mrs. J has.........circulon(?)
I had a set we got from Todd's grandma as a wedding gift - It was a heavy enamel set - no non-stick, but otherwise worked well. It was just getting worn out.

Last year for Christmas I bought my son an inexpensive boxed set at Ikea. He had no pots and pans to speak of after he and his GF broke up - they were hers and she took them with.

I liked it so well I bought one for us! And pitched all the old stuff ! :clappurple: (donated to the thrift store)
It's non stick on both the inside and ouside, is lightweight and well designed. I never thought I would like some cheap pans so well...and Todd the cook likes them too - so that's the most important thing :D :D

I also bought the steamer/pasta inset for the larger stock pot.

I looked up the Circulon - and realized my MIL had several pieces of that kind.

I think she really liked using it - but I hated washing it. The circular grooves were a pain in the butt!
i dont know what brand i have but they are weighted stainless steel..theyre awesome

a secret to stainless pans....heat the pan HOT BEFORE putting anything in it..including oil...then heat the oil HOT and add your ingredients...things will stick a lot less

clean up.....barkeepers friend...at the local grocery store on the cleaning isle....its like comet but made for pots and pans...works awesome!
I love to cook. For my wedding I received a set of Paderno (http://www.paderno.com) pots and pans. At first I was a bit disappointed because I had registered for a different brand (all clad) and had never heard of it... but after 2 years, I dont think I can ever buy another brand. Theyre amazing!!

They're made in Canada, durable, lightweight doesnt stick, plus have 25 years+ warranty to their products. I love my le crueset saucepan and skillet but they're so darn heavy and I hate washing them in the sink!
