Any time Troy walks into the room, or gets up from his chair Frankie has to follow him. Well I should say first Frankie goes up to Troy and bites him in the crotch, then runs behind him and bites him in the back of the calf. Troy is always telling him personal space dude personal space. Leave it doesn't work NO doesn't work. Troy thinks that Frankie considers him another dog and just wants to play. Any suggestions? Troy would really appreciate them. Lisa and Frankie |

Frankie considers him part of his "herd" that he is taking care of. All was well & fine as long as Troy was sitting down & stationary. Everything was in it's place. As soon as he moved, it was Frankie's job to keep an eye on him & keep him herded up. |
I'm sure Marilyn's interpretation is right. I just have to say...biting in the crotch?! Wow, my hubby would have some slightly more colorful words to say than "Personal space..." Actually, Scott does use that exact phrase, but in his case its when Bert feels the need to lick every inch of his body |
OH yes he does that to him also. But the bites are nose action first then that herding nip thing they do. Lisa and Frankie |
Frankie does not consider him a pack leader. Your DH will have to start feeding Frankie and making him do his "doggie pushups" before he gets his meal: "sit, down, up, sit, stay, down" etc then the food. Also DH will have to walk Frankie, by himself and learn how to properly walk him, not let him pull or cross in front. Once the Franskster sees DH as pack leader, then DH can use a short sounds command.......for example: "tzzzzzt" to correct Frankie before those canines come too close to the family jewels. |
What does DH mean? I see it often in posts. |

Pack leaders get personal space when they ask for it. |
