Please don't feel guilty for not being able to take another dog or for turning one down for whatever reason. If the timing isn't right or other obligations would prevent you from properly caring for multiple dogs, it's probably not a good idea to take another on. We all have limits, whether financial, adequate space for the dogs or time to care for them. A good rescue won't look badly upon you for declining a dog for whatever reason. You're doing the right thing by Frankie and when the time is right there will be another dog on Petfinder needing a great home. |
Max would love to come live with Frankie. He is a sheepie with big ears! He is currently listed on TX OES Rescue site and I can send you more pictures if you would like. Yesterday, I put in on the first step of my pool and today he went in by himself and decide to just lay on the first step. Then played with Ellie while they were both in the pool. I wish I would have had my camera -- they were having so much fun. It sounded like kids having lots of fun. If I go swimming today, I am sure Max will venture off the first step. I'll give him a few swimming lessons. Annie will be the next one in the pool. She very curious when Max, Ellie and Lulu are in the water so maybe I'll have 4 dogs in my pool. Crazy! Michelle |
Michelle I'd like to see lots of pictures of all your foster babies!! I keep thinking about Max, Annie, and little Gracie. I'd love to see how they're doing! |
