Darby in PA
Darby was found as a stray and looks very sad. I know there are several people here looking for dogs and he/she looks pretty nice. |

| We already visited with him and Carl is way too much dog for the tiny Darby.
We're hoping he finds a forever home but he is doing very well with his great foster parents! |

Not that I don't want to but I just spent over a week trying to arrange transportation for Winston that I adopted on Petfinfer from Philadelphia but it was such a hassel trying to arrange all this with the airlines and the only help that I could get in a relay was from Jil willing to take him to Detroit where I could go and pick him up. I was then told by the people at the rescue shelter he was in that it would be too long of a drive for him and that I should look in my own area to adopt which is what I'll do from now. Uncle Pete |
Here's what I don't get...why would a rescue org let someone adopt a dog(knowing in advance where that person lives) and then say it's too far of a drive  This is a disservice to both the adoptive family and the dog.
