It's called "Showdog Moms and Dads," and will air on the Bravo network at 10 PM Eastern time on Wednesday nights, starting tomorrow. The promos for it look pretty funny, actually, because it's amazing what some showdog owners will do for their dogs. One promo said, "She does everything for this dog except change it's diapers!" Oh my! Can't wait to see it! Chris |

I heard about this too. Should probably be pretty interesting to watch. Someone watch it for me, I don't get the channel. |
I hope I can stay awake long enough to watch it. |
saw the promo for it last night, cant wait to watch it, it looks like it should be umm very enlightening lol |
It looks very reminiscent to the movie "Best in Show"-- but for real |
Ack! I missed it! I haven't had the internet or tv for a few days due to the flooding around here - I wish I could have watched it. |
I wonder if any of us will recognize ourselves? |
Did anybody see it?? I saw maybe 5 minutes before I fell asleep!

I saw it. It profiles about 5 different people/families and how they obsess about their dogs. They also showed snippets conformation, agility and this woman who did a variety act with her dog. The breeds profiled were Weimariner, German Shepard, Pharoah Hound, chihuaha, Border terrier, Whippet & Austrailian Shepards. They had this one woman crying who couldn't have children and dogs flled that void for her and this male couple being thankful that their dogs don't do tricks because they prefer them to be dressed up in little outfits. Plus this woman who said she would rather spend time with her dog than her husband. The people profiles were pretty extreme and pretty amusing as an outsider but a lot of this animal attachment behavior really hit home. I'm sure the couple of my friends that also were watching this last night must of been "that's Deb & that's Deb" and I'm sure they were rolling on the floor laughing especially since what's going on here at the house with the new dog being in season. They spent a bit of time last night about breeding so this really hit a cord too. |
I watched it too, and had to take it at face value. Pretty funny. Although the mom who had her son showing their dog really pissed me off. What a wench!!! I enjoyed it, but could see getting sick of it (and all the extremes) before the end of the first season. Deborah, Pirate and Keira |
