Don't bother getting if for your OES. The furminator is designed for a dog with a different coat, like a lab. I have a furminator for my cats that works great! |
As Erin said - no Furminator for OES. Save your money for a good pin brush or comb |
One of the Forum members (Butterstotch) suggested getting a Mars Coat Stripper. We purchased one of the 8 blade types and it is great. It is designed to cut through mats and also to cut out the dead hair in the coat. One of the best grooming tools we ever got. |

It will strip hair down, so if you have a particularly matted area that you're using the coat king to demat (say on the side) the hair will be thinner on that side and could cause a lopsided effect. A little stripping can go a LONG way! |
I do strip my dogs when they are in full coat as well. IMO though a good consistent routine of line grooming should really keep the fur in the house to a minimum. The thing I find about stripping is with the regrowth I tend to have to work harder to keep the matts away. Shellie |
thanks for all youre advise !!!! ill send pictures on my grooming next week |
