Please note that this is not torn nor is it unravelled. There is a roundish section completely eaten out with no real fraying. I think it takes huge talent to do such a thing. I made this as a gift for my (then) boyfriend, (now) hubby about twenty years ago. Three weeks ago Rudy apparently noticed it. All has since passed, or so we assume. We never found any evidence of it in Poo Corner. So, is it possible he's creating a "sheepie pellet" in his tummy? (Think owl pellet...) One day it'll come out and we'll get the leftover computer keys, missing scrunchie, and yarn from this afghan back? It will probably include several plants, missing keys, and a full sized giraffe as well. In Rudy's defense, when my hubby brought this to my attention (yes, they were all hanging together in the bedroom when it happened, under his watchful eye)...Gordon did explain that Rudy's chewy ring may have gotten trapped under the blanket, and so Rudy probably had no choice but to eat his way down to it, to save it. Thanks hubby. |

husband supervision..... it's equally effective at our house as well. And I don't even have dogs that eat or chew non-food items! |
thanks for the afternoon lol |
Yup, that takes talent. |

I heard rumours Rudy has a whole new batch of china to practice her surgical techniques on... |
he ate a precision hole only big enough to retrieve the chew ring. good dog rudy. gotta luv husbands and their kid sitting skills. i'm good at it now, only took 55yrs. p.s. tracie, you're pretty skilled, betcha you can patch that right up. |
Rudy is a master at the surgical strike. Most impressive! This type of "husband supervision" is exactly why we have one four-legged kid and ZERO two-legged ones. Laurie and Oscar |
