coat colour?
Anyway when i got him he was mostly black but now his legs and his ears are getting very grey. I just wondered at wheat age oes do get their full grey / silver coats? I know hes a cross so could look like anything! Thank you very much and il add a pic soon x |

Hi, There is really no exact time for their hair to turn from Black to Gray. Some turn quickly, while others might take a couple years. My dog is about a year old and he is primarily black but if you part his hair you can see his under coat is all gray. Hope that helps!  |
| Welcome to the forum! Oscar started to go gray at about 8 months old. His hair didn't completely turn until he was almost two years old. Our first sheepdog, Quincy, had black ears (like Snoopy) that never turned gray, even though the black fur on his body did. Laurie and Oscar |
| That's good to know about Oscar. Chowder is 8 months and turning grey but her ear is as black as the day we picked her up at 10 weeks. |
