It has been chased around the floor and used as a frozen peanut butter popsicle in summer, all with realitively little damage. Tonight Wayne is out for a work function so its just me and the dogs and Rowdy cat. I am kicking back on the couch with chocolate and wine. ITS GREAT WHEN YOU DONT HAVE TO SHARE Selfish who me?? The dogs have both had big long walks and were playing together with a tug rope. I gave my Mom a call and she got a glass of wine and we were having a nice natter when I wondered what the weird squelchy, squeaky noise was. Tiggy and Rastus had decided to play tugga with the dental kong. One end has come off and Rastus is happily chomping on it like its a large piece of gum. I am going to take it off him now its too swallowable, he will be sad. Tiggy has the big bit so she's going to be happy. I guess the freezing and washing finally caused it to become destructable and it just couldnt survive the tug of war. |

wellllllllllllllllll......KONG ..............DID...............have............a ...........good........life!!! an evening burial, right before sunset would be appropriate and touching...... (my condolences!!!!) |
Yeah, the freezing destroys the rubber, but Kong did its job for quite some time. |
Sounds like a great Kong, and it deserves a proper burial. It lived a long and productive life. Our Rudy destroys Kongs, new and old, on sight. He'll never know the kind of joy this Kong brought to the life of your sheepies. Farewell Kong! |
I can hear the music from "The Wizard of Oz" in my head right now: "Ding dong the Kong is dead!" "Which old Kong?" "The Dental Kong!" "Ding dong the Dental Kong is dead!" |
