Pearl and I are one of three top teams that have been visiting the longest!!! After hearing this, this morning, I found myself reflecting on her life. From the time she came to us at 4 months old, sad and neglected, to her crazy, bouncing 'teenage' years, to her caring and love she gave to Millie, her adopted mom the day Millie passed to the Bridge, to her acceptance of Coz and her nuturing and training of Heart... And now, in her golden years, she still has such compassion~~~ I am so proud of my eldest 'daughter'! I sometimes think she is getting too old to wear that harness and go on a visit, but, as soon as we get to our facility, she has a smile on her sweet face and a puppy-bounce in her step. No one can believe she is 14!!! She will always be my little Pearl Girl!!! I love you Pearl!! Thank you for 14 wonderful years of joy and unconditional love you have given all of us!!!!! |

Well, that made me tear up. Pearl is an exceptional girl, and you have been her exceptional momma |
That is sooooo Great!!! These senior are so wonderful. Glad Pearl is going strong. I think I'm going to retire Simon next year. He is getting arthritis in his rear. I'd hate to have him have pain and be non-tolerant of touch, hugging and getting lots of attention. No trouble yet, but I want to end his career on a total positive note. |
That's just wonderful! |
Awwwwww Pearl You should be really proud of her. |
