When I picked him up, they told me his back teeth were ground down. I asked if they did that or did he do it. They say the dogs do it when they chew on stuff. They said he's ground them down almost to the pulp and that's why they look like they're stained. They told me it's normal for a dog his age (6 years) and that it won't bother him. I've never heard of that. Does this sound normal? I hated to have to drop him off and for him to be put under, but it sounded like he did just fine. |

It usually bothers us more than it bothers them. I have a boy who has fractured 2 of his molars chewing on nylabones. He also chipped the enamel off one of the molars. I had my vet check them out & he told me what to watch for. He said until they bother him to let them go . To be on the safe side, I am not letting him have anything to chew on until AFTER the national this year! |
