Swimming Sheepie
Yesterday we were at a my a friend's house. They have an large pool. My sheepie, Guin (Guinevere) was playing happily with a lab around the pool. My friend turned to me and said "She won't try to go in the pool, will she?" and I replied "Oh goodness no, she doesn't like to swim." The moment the words were out of my mouth, Guin stepped out into the pool, onto a piece of pool cover that was floating on top of the water. Poor girl didn't know what had happened. Pandemonium ensued. I had to jump in, to save the pool liner from my frantically flailing sheepie. Guin unintentionally mauled me while I was dragging her to the pool steps. Two minutes later she was back to play time. That was our excitement for the weekend. A few black bruises and nasty scratches later, all is well! |

| Gah, a new thing to panic about! Despite the heat right now, I am happy we got rid of our backyard pool. Happy it all ended well. Was she scared of the pool after that? |

Sorry... I didn't mention before. Guin can swim just fine... she doesn't like swimming at all.  |
