Tony has severe HD too (since he was a puppy) Since then I give Tony Dasquin every morning - as for food-- used to be Canidae, now Solid Gold. What kind of g/c do you give Oliver? |
Quincy, our first OES, had elbow dysplasia. He had surgery when he was 18 months old, but arthritic changes had already taken place. He ate Science Diet reduced calorie food, and received Cosequin, as well as Missing Link Supplement with Glucosamine Chondroitin. Laurie and Oscar |
Thanks for the replies! I posted this a few months ago when I was looking to switch Oliver's food from Science Diet j/d. It was way too expensive for the junk in it! We are on Blue Buffalo now. It is very good on Lucy's tummy, and Oliver just loves it. Oliver is also on 21st Century K-9 Maximum Joint Formula, level 3 supplements. He gets 1500 mg of of Glucosamine, 600 mg of chondroitin, and 600 mg of MSM daily. |
