Make sure you trim up the hair between her pads really well too - that helps a lot. I found the easiest way to get sand out is to float it out. If you can have her wade in a pool, or even swish her feet good in a pail, that most of it will come out. Better than rinsing or hosing it anyway! Have fun - and pictures would be great |
I live over the road from the beach so mine get walked daily on the beach Best advice is make sure the hair inbetween pads is cut short .If chiquita gets wet it is best to let her dry off a bit on the beach otherwise you will have a sand dune were she has layed to dry .Not nice if a car is involved When she is dry a quick paw rub with a towel is usually enough.Marley is shaved and he drys ,in hot weather, in about 20 minutes. |

Has she ever been swimming? For mine, if we are just playing on the beach, no life jackets. Especially as us humans are right there too. When we are there, they are right with us In a boat - yes! |
