poor guy |
He certainly touched my heart! |
Oooh... you did post him here, Brenda. Poor boy. Hearing all the commotion, not being able to see if he's in danger of being jumped by another dog... look how sweet he is knowing there's a human outside his pen. Here's a bigger picture- http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak- ... 6361_n.jpg Wondering if that left eye shrunk... I hope so. Have any boxer or blind dog rescues responded? |
Youch... cherry eye, that is PAINFUL, but correctable. I think the right eye is definitely blind though. There was a blind/deaf dog rescue that had an OES mix a few months back... I'm trying to remember the name of it... |
Bingo! Anyone tried this group http://www.blinddogrescue.com/ Looks like they have chapters across the country; they may be able to help! I've emailed the intake coordinators, I'm not sure if they can get him in time, or if they can help, but we at least gave it a shot! |
Thank you Erin, I sent them off an email with the link to his page. |
Oh, Erin... that does look like cherry eye. Looks like he's got it in the right eye too but not as severe. I hope someone will help him... |
Thanks gals.... I did call the shelter and they said he would be there Monday morning to see what the weekend holds! Keep posting...his pull fee is sponsored! |
