is there a rescue in vancouver??? he looks so sad and like he needs a good belly rub and bath. Poor little guy. Anyone up north know of anyone looking |
OES Rescue BC is on it and hope to have a happy ending for this guy..... |
Please keep us posted! Katdog I'm sorry I hadn't replied sooner as I'd been so busy with Gilligan, another Lower Mainland rescue. I hope this isn't a trend with irresponsible owners starting to breed OES in this area. |
This Craig'slist dog is adopted apparently. OES Rescue was NOT involved though.... sigh! |
re: OES Rescue was NOT involved though.... sigh! Rescues are generally amazing and very dedicated. However, a dog can find his perfect person without that person being 'approved'. And the work (training, understanding, exercise) that goes into a pack relationship will not be judged accurately (if at all) on an application. A yard does not equal having a beloved to romp with on a sunny day. Or a firm hand to teach you how to be polite so that you're welcome to come along everywhere. I wish every ebullient sheepie the joy of a meaningful (disciplined, useful, relevant, interesting, hug-filled) life with a devoted and playful person. With all due respect, and in the spirit of rowing the same boat. VV, Zuzu , (and I'm sure Vlad would vouch for me if still here |
I certainly hope he went to a good home and then to a good groomer ( smile ! ) And Marianne, I've been enjoying your tales about Gillian and am keeping up so no need to reply privately. |
