Yeaay! We did good in class.
 so next week we will be with the well behaved doggies  Luckily the tutor expects us to spend a few weeks finding our feet before they expect any further improvement. I think we are going to have to work hard, but that's exactly what I was hoping for and I'm enjoying the lessons, I'm sure Ru is too! |

Are you working to the Kennel Club Good Citizen scheme? If so, has Rufus gone on to 'Silver' level now? Sweetpea is working at Silver but poor Poppy still has to pass her Bronze. She got up from her laying down position when I returned to her after her one minute 'stay' so it was an automatic fail for the whole test! Very harsh I think! We weren't able to go to the next set of tests as Poppy wasn't well so we're still waiting to catch up to Sweetpea (as Tony who trains Sweetpea regularly reminds us!!!)  Keep up the good work Rufus! |
We are working towards taking the bronze, but we are still on the very basics. I can't imagine Ru staying that far away from me for any period- never mind the seperate room thing later in the course, we both have seperation anxiety. I know I don't help by getting nervy if I can't see him and he's not crated. I need more training than he does  |
