On the way to the vet I got to see the tornado damage from last week. It brought a tear to my eye. I have never personally seen anything like it. Just a patch where house were gone just in a pile. You can look into the fields and see roof tops laying out there. Very lucky that nobody was hurt. Lisa and Frankie |

How old is Frankie? In my experience cysts come with age. |
Susan, Frankie is 1 year and 2 months old. Thats what I call them actually, old man bumps. They were talking at the vets office today, about him being my special needs dog. Lisa and Frankie |
He really is. I hope you'll enjoy paying for that new extension to the vet's office. My old sheepies are cyst-city. Every few months I find another. And our dear Glacier-Pyr who had the exploded cyst last winter is growing an identical new on her back, just to the side of the spine...... There must be a reason for all these cysts on dogs: bacterial, virus, ?? |
Our pyrs got them alot, but they were older. Frankies PT studies chinese medicine for canines. She says she has some draining ideas. She has me starting on what she calls a cooler food. Either turkey, duck or fish based. He hates fish based, now we are trying duck. She also requested barley to be in the food. Once we get him on that and he does well, we'll start adding other things. Celery and mushrooms I think she said. With Frankies health I'm willing to try anything at this point. Lisa and Frankie |
Jack is my major cyst boy........ ......there's no way I could tell your PT what all Jack eats! Today he grabbed a Fiber Source tablet off the floor when DH dropped it. Surely no dog would eat a sour apple fiber tablet.....except Jack. Strange expression, "Zowie that's sweet and sour." Fish and barley, he'd rebel, "Is that all there is??" If it works for Frankie, Jack might have to start singing the Starfish Tuna song. |
