First have her tested for a UTI. Stop by the vet's and get a sterile cup, get the sample and return it. Often you don't even need an app't. if you've developed a good relationship with the vet. You'll be charged for the test, not an office visit.....at least that's the way we have it. The vet may still want to examine her for rash, irritation, foreign object......whatever. If all is clear, maybe she needs more exercise to strengthen the abdomen.....just like in people...doggie Kegels. I remember one sheepie owner set up a series of small jumps just outside the doggie door so her girl was forced to jump and use those muscles each time she came and left the house. At the far end is she might have a structural problem or other more medical condition. Hope your leaky sheepie gets her faucet under control soon. |
