I don't know anything about the product, but the best supplement to dogs, cats or even people with dry skin in my opinion, is fish oils. You can feed it naturally, or buy a fish oil concentrate in a caplet form as well. |
I've got all my babies on K9-Rx. Incredible product. It's not just the omega's, etc. that help the skin but it's the quality of the food your feeding. Most dog foods are 'Feed Grade' made with 'Crude' ingredients, not fit for human consumption - lacking necessary protein/amino acid complex to allow your dog to thrive. K9-Rx adds it back in. |
Have not used that one, but "Missing Link" is a great additive to help. |
I've always given my dogs oily fish once or twice a week mixed in their kibble, it really does help - Sardines or Pilchards and they love it, mind you it does smell a bit |

I just got some for Dixie. We have used it for many rescue dogs, and it had done wonders. Have you used it? |
YES!!! started using it when my first sheepie girl was going through radical new cancer treatment, she kept coat and her skin was healthy the whole time when being treated for months and months with cancer harsh drugs, she had the treatment at 7 and I was blessed to have her live for another 7 years after treatment, one part of the treatment made her have a low immune system to stop the cancer mastisising (probably spelt that wrong ) to other parts of her body and an offset to that was a probability of loosing coat and skin problems, amazing stuff to help coat and skin and I can only speak highly of the "Missing Link" it made a huge difference for that awful time.
Use it still on my other two. Love it, so much beneficial goodness in it for them. So if you start dixie on that will be very very interested to see how she responds to the supplement in a months time or so and if you can see any difference to her. |
