I spoke to Ann Lapp, OESCA member and former health chairman, about an ongoing study in our breed, that is in great need of blood samples of affected dogs. If you have, or know of an OES with PRA whose owner would be wiling to participate in this study, please contact me so I can forward the info to Ann Lapp. More samples will aid researches in locating the genetic marker for PRA in OES, as they have in other breeds.
