I've seen kitchener used to graft two sides together when you want the pattern to be a mirror image. Here are some tutorials: http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer04/FEATtheresasum04.html http://techknitting.blogspot.com/2007/0 ... -also.html I am also a huge fan of the forums on ravelry.com for knitting help. Here is the link to the forum for questions about techniques: http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/techniques/topics |
Val, I posted this question on ravelry.com and no lie, within 5 minutes had 8 responses. The answer is that the 2 pieces are mirror images of each other and will have no break in the pattern when worn around the neck. Knitting it one long piece will make one end look "upside down." I'm doing it in one piece. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... scarf-w201 This is the pattern. |
Fabulous. Looks beautiful. I love Ravelry. . . |
