Until I got a call from the dog walker saying he had diarhea. Then I remembered what he had done. So I looked the plant up on line. POISONUS. So I called the vet and they wanted to see him right away. They did an exam and said to just watch out for certain symptoms. Which he didn't get. Thank Goodness. Thank god my boss is understands things like that. He's a new puppy owner. Lisa and Frankie |

Ahhh how scarey. What sort of plant was it? All my potted lillies went west when I got a cat who likes to chew plants as they're highly toxic to cats. As a result I've currently NO house plants, but the neighbours have a wisteria and it grows over my fence, so I'm always cutting it back. Some wisteria is poisonous to dogs and some not and I have no idea which is which. |
It had a couple of different names on line a common fig plant or a rubber plant. Troy said we have to go thru all of our plants outside this weekend and see whats toxic and not and just get rid of them. I had moved the plant to the deck Sunday to get some warm weather, and I just wasn't paying attention like I should have been. Lisa and Frankie |
I wanted to plant foxgloves in my garden, but they're highly poisonous to both cats and dogs. I'm thinking about trying to sneak them in some place int the front, where the critters can't go. I'm glad Frankie is okay; Tell him Tonks and Luna say "lay off that salad bar!" |
