Just a short note to say we are thinking of you and Beau...
Our prayers are with you.. |
I've been wondering how Beau made out today.... hope to hear good news soon... |
Well, he didn't make it today. It's been raining here and Beau would not go out of the garage. He fell on the driveway when it was icy so now he's very cautious. My husband was going to leash him but he was very nervous. The vet said not to force him because he's afraid of falling so he'll go in sometime this week. We have antibiotics and a few days more for the x-rays won't matter. I would like to thank you and all the others who posted, the prayers and kind words helped so much! |
I was thinking about you and Beau today-- I never got a chance to post yesterday. I was driving right through your neck of the woods and when I drove by the park at Romeo Plank and 21, I thought about walking dogs and wondered if you and Beau walked there too (when it isn't flooded!). I hope he makes it when the weather is better. Let us know how everything comes out. |
Oh poor boy, I hope he's ok... it's good that your vet is concerned with his mental well being too |
Henry and I are sending our best thoughts to you and Beau.
My sister's dog had her front right leg amputated about 2 weeks ago, and all I can say is dogs are wonderful creatures. They have no self pity. She is up and around, going up and down stairs, chasing her ball, and adjusting beautifully. Far better than my sister who unfortunately understands that the cancer may recur. Another amputee at the same time and clinic was a great dane, who is also doing well proving that even huge dogs can cope. |
Thanks you guys Butter I just posted some MI shows, one is very close to you at the fairgrounds 8/Wood, you were only a couple of miles from me yesterday straght down 21 past Schoenherr. |
Beau is in our prayers also. Wishing for a full recovery.
Love, and prayers, Herbgirl, Skye and Mardi |
Henry's Mom-
Was yout sisters dog an OES? What age and weight? Sorry for so many questions and I'm glad her dog is doing well- Thanks Holly |
You're both in my prayers. Best of luck from Barney and I. |
