Thunder is a 15 year old black&white cat that does not look or act his age. His name is so appropriate, I never knew a cat that makes so much noise when he walks or lands after jumping. I try to scratch his ears or talk to him when he wanders by but still feel he isn't getting enough attention. It appears I was wrong. I was skimming the pool this afternoon and noticed Margie kept running from the house to me at the side of the pool and back again. She calmed down until I headed for the house then she was dancing all around me. It was like she had a secret and couldn't wait to tell me. Once in the house she ran to my laptop, sat down, and put her paw on it. I walked over to the laptop with the smiling sheepie and noticed a gift had been left for me. The rear half of a lizard had been neatly placed on my computer. Apparently Thunder thinks I'm OK and left a gift to say so. I had to paw wrestle Margie to keep her from eating my gift. |

Maybe by next week you'll rate a mouse, or at least HALF of one. |

I've only ever scored rats and mice...............now a lizard, wow that really says something. I'm just not sure what it really says, that's all. |
I thought lizards were poisonous to dogs. |

It that is true, maybe I'll teach Jack to chase lizards Russel snatched a morning dove a few days ago He did drop it when I told him to, but too late. I had to wait, holding the dog from it's prize, until it died. Then I got to dispose of the remaings with a bouncing dog at my side. The more I hang with these JRT's the more I love my Sheepies. |
