| ah Saratog Springs made an effort to become a dog friendly town. Residents and visitors alike revolted and from what I understand you are not very likely to be guaranteed to find a place to eat outside with your dog. If it was a pocketbook dog it would be more likely. Remember we also get a lot of rain out this way in August and you can't always count on being outside to eat. We also get extremely hot and humid so unless you have a a/c hotel room where you can safely leave your dog crated when you go out to eat it may not be the best place for a doggie vacation. As I understand it dogs are not allowed at the race track. From their website: Are dogs allowed at the Race Track? No pets of any kind are allowed at the track, except those necessary for medical purposes (ie. seeing-eye dog). |
